# Can I post the video on my TikTok account?

## Information on TikTok's "download" settings

Copyright owners are welcome to post their content into their TikTok pages. If your video is uploaded onto your personal TikTok account, however, you may want to consider disengaging the “download” feature for that video. This feature—which is enabled by default— allows any users on the platform the ability to download a copy of your video. Once downloaded to their device, the user may re-upload it to their own social media accounts. Turning this feature off will decrease the likelihood for unauthorized infringements of your content.
