Different types of licenses grant you the rights to use Jukin's content in different ways.
“Editorial Use” means that the primary purpose of using the content is to entertain, educate, inform, or comment. Videos purchased with an editorial license cannot be used in a way that promotes, endorses, or advertises a product, brand, or service -- although it may be used in content that is monetized through advertising (as long as the content itself meets the definition of editorial use). Videos that are marked green for "editorial use" may contain the intellectual property of third-parties for which you assume the risk.
"Commercial Use" means that the purpose of using the content is to sell, promote, endorse or advertise a product, business or service and is intended to generate profit. This includes, but is not limited to, TV ads, digital video ads, sponsored content, and marketing communications published by a business or marketing agency. Videos that are marked green for "Advertising" are available for commercial use inquires, but may require additional edits prior to your use. Such edits need to be determined on a case by case basis, and may include cropping or blurring any third-party intellectual property, including but not limited to, brand names, logos, copyrights, trademarks, or personal rights unless the owner of the intellectual property has given authorization to use it. For purchases of a commercial license, Jukin will assist with the required edits.
