Jukin Media represents tens of thousands of individual video creators -- the vast majority of these creators are regular people (not professional entertainers). These creators sign with Jukin for many reasons, including to help them earn money from the compelling videos they’ve captured; Jukin generates money by licensing the creators’ videos, for a fee, to third parties like TV shows, advertisers, websites, social media pages, YouTube shows, and more.
When Jukin discovers that those third-party entities are using creators’ videos without getting permission or purchasing a license, Jukin protects the copyright of these videos on behalf of the amateur creators who signed with Jukin.
